This 4-week course is designed to help participants reclaim their wholeness, peace and happiness. Suitable for all levels - novice and experienced practitioners. The course has a strong focus on experience rather than theory. Registration is necessary.
Lotus Holistic Center
This group meets on the last Thursday of the month. It is open to all experienced practitioner or people who have done a mindfulness course. We discuss our practices and support each other's practices and mindfulness challenges. Although there is no "formal" teaching, i always find that i learn and grow from meeting this group and so does everyone else who attends. Its a lovely supportive group.
Mandela Day - Health and Wellness Celebration

International Nelson Mandela Day celebrates Mandela's birthday in the spirit that he lived his life - that is giving freely to improve the lives of others. In that spirit, some health care practitioners have come together to offer FREE health and wellness opportunities to the community. There will be 30 minute workshops - which we would love for you to participate in - various exercises from gym classes to Qigong, dances and self-defense, to learning how to give a massage There will be talks on mindfulness, Men's Health, improving mental health, herbal Medicine and so on... In another room, you have the opportunity to try out various healing options - reiki, craniosacral, massage, reflexology, acupressure and so many others There is an opportunity to "know your numbers" - by having your blood pressure and other health-related checks Lastly, there will be free tea, coffee and snacks.
