In a poem entitled OUR DEEPEST FEAR By Marianne Williamson, she writes

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us."..

later on she states

"Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you."

Think about this for a moment - as a society, we celebrate our weakness (look at the self help section of bookstores or podcasts), think about what you talk about to your friends (what's wrong, how you are struggling...). We constantly play small.

Can you instead give yourself permission to start celebrating or acknowledging your success - your light.

Start small - feel good about that assignment, project that you did, that you helped someone today.

Start to see the good in yourself and allow yourself to be happy and ok with that success.

Don't worry, you wont get a big head or become arrogant. This is starting to be real with yourself. .
