If you water the flowers, you will have a lovely flower garden with some weeds.
If you water the weeds, you will have a weed garden, with some flowers.
Either way, you get both, but what you focus on is what you have more of, what you have in abundance.
This is another way of saying - practice makes perfect - whatever mood state, life choice you practice, is what you get good at.

If you are fueling what you don't want (anger, resentment, stress), you are fueling and keeping these in your life. We can't get what we want when we are practicing what we don't want.

So, play with practicing, even if just for a minute a day, what you want - how you want to be, the person you aspire to be, The parent you hoped to be.
