Prepared Talks

These are 1 hour talks/presentations that I have done at Hastings District Council for various teams. 

Everyday Mindfulness 

In this session, I explore ways in which our thinking, critical mind keeps us feeling distressed or evokes our fight/flight response. Participants are introduced to various practical, easy to impliment tools or strategies for stopping or reducing this mental distress and being more present in their bodies. Everyday mindfulness does NOT require participants to take time out from their busy days to do a daily mindfulness practice. 

Vagal Nerve Exercises

This session is more interactive and requires participatation in various exercises to reduce stress responses in the body. Learning how stress affects our mind and body and learning practical, easy to impliment tools to reduce stress and teach the body to relax, breathe easily and freely. It does include some mindfulness practices.
